Room Tour | Home office and study inspiration
I've recently moved my office in to the front room of our house and have slowly been getting bits and pieces to put it all together. Yesterday it finally stopped raining for a few hours so I was able to get some shots of the new space (although some still haven't turned out that well I'm afraid!). I love working here and looking outside at the world going by. The room gets wonderful light and it's a lovely space to be in.
My husband has started writing notes on the new Page 33 lightbox. This message was very sweet to come home to the other day! :)
I also love the new pendant I got from DIYL (Do it yourself lights). You choose the cord colour, type of cage and colour and the bulb you like and put it all together. Best of all no electrician is required as the lights simply plug straight in to the wall. I have hung mine on a Muuto dot, but I've also seen them hung over inexpensive shelving brackets from IKEA, which also looks great.
I decided on a monochrome design (what's new!) but have put in a few bits of gold/copper here and there. I love the penny round cushion from Rachel Castle, the gold paper bags from Uashmama and you can't go past a visit Country Road Home for desk accessories.
Some of the pictures haven't come out that well with the light coming from in front of the desk - but you get the idea.
Have a great day! x
